Bob Little Press & PR is committed to providing its clients with a quality service.

To that end - in January 2001 - Bob Little Press & PR was elected to membership of the PRI, a group of independent, specialist public relations firms that are recognised as leaders in their fields. 

Bob Little is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (since 1997) and the National Union of Journalists (since 1984). 

Before establishing a press and public relations consultancy in June 1990, Bob Little had worked for the Road Transport Industry Training Board (RTITB). 

Employed as a management development trainer, Bob wrote open learning materials before becoming editor of the Board's newspaper, Transport Training (tabloid, 26,000 circulation) in 1983.

Bob served as chairman of the editorial board of Training Technology & Human Resources magazine from October 2001 to November 2006 and has been chairman of the editorial board of Human Capital Management (HCM) magazine:

Since forming Bob Little Press & PR, Bob has edited the following magazines: 

  • Training Technology & Human Resources (1990 - 93; circ 6,000); 

  • Complete Interiors (1993 - 94; circ 35,000); 

  • The TACT Newsletter (1992 - 99; circ 1,000); 

  • The TACT Journal (1999; circ 1,000); 

  • Management Skills & Development (1998 - 2000; circ 20,000); 

  • Open Learning Today (1999 – 2003; circ 1,200), and 

  • QL (2003 – 05; circ 1,200).

Appointed chairman of the editorial board of Training Technology & Human Resources magazine in October 2001.

He has written – and also ‘ghosted’ articles - on industrial training/multimedia topics for a number of publications including Government Business, Government Technology, Training and Management Development Methods, and Industrial & Commercial Training.

Bob has designed corporate literature including newsletters and has also written advertising/marketing copy for clients such as Wessex Training, Vincent Woodstock Organ Builders and Trainer1. 

Bob's skills have been honed in many aspects of PR in addition to writing and placing articles in the press on behalf of clients – including BBC Worldwide. He has helped to organise conferences, product launches and corporate hospitality events. He is experienced in dealing with celebrities, arranging meetings and press calls and generally keeping media representatives well briefed on his clients' activities.
