Echelon case studies learning at Online Info 06
Information and learning resource publisher, Echelon rolls out case
studies of electronically accessible solutions geared to enhance
employee and organisational performance in both the corporate and
public sectors at this year's Online Information show in London.
The exhibition and a supporting conference addresses online content and
information management solutions and which runs from the 28th to 30th
November 2006 at Olympia, London.
On Stand 662, Echelon is showcasing resources that meet the
requirements of professional bodies offering distance learning for
student qualifications as well as continuous professional development (CPD)
for members.
Studies of commercial organisations using Echelon to repackage
knowledge and learning for employees to access via company intranets
will be on show together with generic business and management resources
for self-learners to support personal development and performance at
work as well as off-the-peg training material for trainers and
consultants.
In addition to publishing, Echelon offers electronic management and
distribution tools in content and learning management. These enable
highly effective content control, updating and re-purposing in the
publishing process, and ease of search and usage tracking in web-based
distribution.
"Clients are seeing benefit from the ready availability of precisely
targeted materials that support employees at their time of need leading
to improved performance and enhanced customer service and employee
satisfaction," says Echelon Publishing director David Hill. "Online
Information provides a natural forum for looking in greater detail at
the benefits and how they have been reached."

About Echelon Learning
Echelon Learning is a consultancy-led publishing house that integrates
electronically-delivered knowledge and learning into the development of
management skills and business performance.
Echelon Consulting spearheads the company's service with the
development of new content in meeting clients' requirements. This is
usually derived from analysing employee knowledge and learning needs
captured during client learning programmes.
Where appropriate, Echelon Publishing then offers this new content to a
wider audience by publishing the material in generic format. This is
made available in the form of easy to use 'learning nuggets' and is
complimented with business development information licensed exclusively
from one of the market's best-known providers, Bloomsbury.
Echelon e-Learning provides the electronic systems which enable content
to be published, distributed and usage tracked, and offers work-based
solutions to a global audience. Now Echelon's blended learning based on
a bespoke site populated with material selected to support specific
courses, builds knowledge prior to the event and refreshes application
when back at the desk.
