New level of eLearning Network membership
The eLearning Network (eLN) - a non-profit organisation run by the
e-learning community for the e-learning community - has revised its
membership criteria. There are now four levels of full membership
available, in addition to the associate membership grade.
Last year, the eLN introduced a free associate membership scheme. Any
learning and development specialist, designer, developer, supplier,
consultant, tutor, student or academic is encouraged to register for
eLN associate membership.
"We offer free membership because the eLN is essentially a community of
practice, in which members get to share experiences and support each
other in their efforts to make successful use of e-learning within
their organisations," explained the eLN’s chairman, Clive Shepherd. "We
believe this network will benefit by enfranchising all members of the
e-learning community, at whatever level and whatever the field of
interest."
