Learning Light on the 'international speaker circuit'
Two executives from Learning Light (LL), a non-profit organisation
seeking to establish itself as a centre of excellence in the use of
learning technologies in the workplace, are waving the flag for 'UK
learning' abroad over the next month or so.
Mark Pittaway, Learning Light (LL)'s CEO, and Jon Ingham, one of LL's
research associates are addressing learning-related meetings around the
globe over the next few weeks.
Pittaway will be the UK's 'representative for e-learning' when he goes
to Saudi Arabia at the end of April, on a Department for Trade &
industry (DTI) sponsored trade mission in the field of education and
learning.
Ingham is speaking at the HR Forum - now in its 12th year - which is
being held on board the Aurora, in May.
The Forum, which is organised by Richmond Events and attracts several
hundred top HR practitioners, takes place during a cruise on the
English Channel. Participants set sail from Southampton on the Aurora
on 9th May and return on 12th May.
"It is pleasing to see that LL is gaining a worldwide reputation for
its knowledge of, and skill in, the development of learning
technologies," Pittaway commented. "Naturally, LL is delighted to be
'flying the flag' for the UK in Saudi Arabia, as well as being able to
contribute to enhancing the knowledge of the UK's top HR practitioners
on the subject of human capital management."
