Learning Light offers free best practice advice at HRD
Learning Light (LL), a non-profit organisation seeking to establish
itself as a Centre of Excellence in the use of learning technologies in
the workplace, is offering best practice advice on how you can align
your people and technology to improve business performance.
The Learning Light (LL) Advice Clinic on Stand 904 at this year's HRD
exhibition, running from 17th to 19th April at ExCeL in London's
Docklands, is being staffed by a team of top learning technology
advisors. Members of this team will be on hand throughout the show to
provide authoritative guidance and advice relating to people,
technology and improved business performance.
Among this team will be the world-renowned e-learning guru, Jay Cross,
head of the Internet Time Group based in Berkeley, California, who is a
regular contributor to Learning Light members on key e-learning-related
topics. Also in the team is human capital management (HCM) specialist
Jon Ingham who, in addition to offering advice, will be signing copies
of his book 'Strategic Human Capital Management: Creating Value through
People'.
Recently appointed a research associate of LL, Ingham is a Director in
Human Capital Consulting with Buck Consultants and also consults
through his own company, Strategic Dynamics Consultancy Service Ltd. He
has worked in the UK and Europe as an HR Director for Ernst & Young and
as a consultant for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
In addition, those visiting the LL stand at HRD 2007 will be entitled
to three months' free access to LL's membership services, including the
LL Members' Portal.
This members-only portal offers access to a wealth of information in
the form of easy-to-use Quick Guides, Knowledge Nuggets, case studies
and articles on topics related to e-learning and HCM. This
information-rich repository includes access to a wide network of peers
as well as the latest insights from leading gurus.
