Independent market analyst praises Docebo for its innovation and
new ideas
Athens, Georgia, USA., (October 27, 2015) - Docebo, a
provider of cloud-based learning solutions for today's users, has
been publicly praised for its product's 'innovation and new ideas'.
The praise comes from Learning Light,
the UK-based market analyst specializing in the online learning
technologies and educational technology (edtech) sectors. In a
recent post on its website, Learning Light's Director, David
Patterson, names:
- The most used large enterprise-wide learning management systems (LMSs),
- UK-based LMS vendors that could become internationally recognized,
- LMSs that are 'packed full of innovation and new ideas, such as
integration-led solutions',
- LMSs with solutions focused on learner engagement and
- The LMS vendors who've got it wrong.
Named by Learning Light in the third category, Docebo is singled out
as a product that is 'gaining significant market exposure by being
highly visible and full of potential'.
In particular, David Patterson - who is also a member of the
exclusive and prestigious international Think Tank,
The Company of
Thought - comments that Docebo is an 'aspiring, ambitious LMS
vendor' which is 'making a determined and very public effort to
enter the larger size corporate market'.
He adds that while Docebo doesn't 'offer the full enterprise suite
of Oracle or SAP, they are able to integrate their solutions very
effectively into the corporate infrastructure. This is a fast
growing requirement'.
The Learning Light commentary goes on to say that, 'the learning
interface from an LMS such as Docebo, when well integrated, is a
superior learning experience to many other solutions.
'Docebo is a fully loaded LMS with a commitment to integration and
innovation. Perhaps its most interesting innovation is its flexible
pricing model, but this should not overshadow the continuing
commitment to technical and learning improvement.'
'In recent years, many organizations' learning functions have been
transformed,' said Claudio Erba, Docebo's CEO. 'Gamification
techniques and socially-enabled technologies are among the new
weapons in the corporate learning and development armoury.
'Consequently, organizations are thinking about learning through a
more connected and participative process. The use of technology is
key in the shift towards the use of user-generated content, and it's
important in capturing and sharing valuable institutional knowledge.
'Docebo is focusing on meeting corporate needs effectively and
efficiently in this contemporary context,' Claudio added. 'This is
why Docebo's LMS is being increasingly noticed - and praised -by
both corporate users as well as market analysts.'
